The Grail Finds You

NOTE: Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code and The Lost Symbol form a couplet within the five volume Langdon Series, with the focus of both on the Holy Grail and the search to learn what is it and where is it. Through engaging narratives wrapped in mystery and intrigue, three iterations of what and who the Grail is, after starting in the fog, gradually came to light: The Grail is Mother God, symbolized by wine. Secondly, the Grail is a secret code in the Bible. And, lastly, the Grail is Jesus Christ, the Word.
This being my final essay on these two books, following are a few of the key words Brown employed that he clearly wanted his readers to ponder over:
-
Lost Word
-
Apotheosis
-
Transformation
-
Newton
-
33rd degree
-
As above, so below
-
The Brotherhood
-
How to die
-
Keystone
-
Last Supper
In this essay, Molly and I focus on a meme that Brown cites twice in The Lost Symbol that I find particularly interesting because of its deep philosophical implications. It is:
“You don’t find the Grail, the Grail finds you.”
The context of this meme identifies the Grail as Jesus Christ, the living Word of God, and it is a stunning expose’. While millions of Dan’s loyal readers were searching for the Grail in a famous painting, Brown drops this bombshell: The Grail is Christ, and guess what: no one finds Him. If you are one of the worthy, He will find you.
The analogy is clear. JC, the Grail, is the Good Shepherd, active in the world, looking for His lost sheep.
JC: The Good Shepherd
“I am the good shepherd; and I know my sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold, and there will be one flock and one shepherd. Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” John 10:14-18
And:
“I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” John 10:25-30.

Don: Molly, in writing “the Grail finds you,” Dan took a deliberate deep dive into one of the most complex and contentious deliberations in the Christian faith, the issue of predestination as opposed to human free will.
Molly: I know that in the ultimate sense, most scientists and philosophers think free will is an illusion, that human destiny is foreordained.
Don: I mostly agree with them, but I also believe, like many, that the Universe is self-aware, which might allow for pockets of uncertainty.
Molly: So you think the Universe is God, the Singleton?
Don: Right, and that God carved out a portion of Himself, much like Eve was carved out from Adam. It was an act of divine will that allowed both Adam and Eve a measure of free will.
Molly: But was it real?
Don: That, my dear, is the ultimate mystery, as the following verses imply:
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestinated, these He also called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:28-31
Molly: If the “worthy” are predestinated, why do they need to be “called?”
Don: JC also stated: “Many are called, but few are chosen,” Matthew 22:14. It appears that while free will is illusory on the divine level, it is very much real at the human level. The small handful of Masons who knew the Secret of the Sagan Signal struggled with this issue so much that it created a schism, with some wanting full public disclosure of the Code, while others insisted on no disclosure at all. In the end they reached a compromise, to reveal the Sagan Signal and its’ implications in mystery novels, with clues embedded in the text to guide the “worthy” to the Truth.
Molly: And if any person who feels called remains skeptical, they have the Sagan Signal as a second witness. Empirical evidence that their call from ET God is real.
Don: Right. If someone who knows about the Sagan Signal, and feels God tugging at their heart, calling them to His family – but still refuses to accept JC/ET into their heart, they have no excuse. God isn’t going to get down on His knees and beg. If we are called, we have a choice: to respond or not.
JC/ET: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20.
Don: It’s critical that individuals understand that this sweet admonishment is time sensitive, counterbalanced by the Singleton I call the “Bad-Assed” Jesus.
*****
Bad-Assed Jesus
“Then He said to another,’ Follow me.’ But he said, ‘Lord, let me first go and bury my father.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Let the dead bury their own dead.’” Luke 9:59&60
Zombie
Don: The Bible makes it clear that the vast majority of humans are zombies, the walking dead. Those impervious to the urgings of the Spirit of Christ are all around us, even members of our own families. No, they don’t look or act like zombies, that’s a Hollywood thing. Physically and mentally, they look and act normal. It is their invisible inner spirit that is lifeless. Absent the Spirit of Christ, there is no life.
Molly: Is this what Kurzweil singularitarians believe?
Don: I think Ray, Nick and other Singularity pioneers are desperately hoping that George, the Singleton they’re working feverishly to create, will be magnanimous enough to accept everyone who yields to his will. Among the holdouts, who Ray calls Mostly Original Substrate Humans (MOSHs), will be born-again Christian Singularitarians waiting for the Second Coming of Christ, the real Singleton.
Molly: What you’re describing sounds like some kind of nutty religious cult. Is that what you envision?
Don: Absolutely not! Quite the opposite. The “worthy” examine the evidence, think for themselves, and make their own decisions, not follow the herd or some guru. They don’t think: “I’ll believe it when I see it.” They think: “I’ll believe it when I see it, and test it, and test it again and again, with results that, without exception, are affirmative,” a standard of truth echoed by American physicist and inventor, Robert Williams Wood (1868-1955):
“The physicist has an idea. The more he thinks it through, the more sense it seems to make. He consults the scientific literature. The more he reads, the more promising the idea becomes. Thus prepared, he goes to the laboratory and devises an experiment to test it. The experiment is painstaking. Many possibilities are checked. The accuracy of measurement is refined, the error bars reduced. He lets the chips fall where they may. He is devoted only to what the experiment teaches. At the end of all this work, through careful experimentation, the idea is found to be worthless. So the physicist discards it, frees his mind from the clutter of error, and moves on to something else.”
Don: This is what makes the Sagan Signal such a historic discovery. It’s free-standing evidence that has been exhaustively tested and confirmed to be a product of non-human origin. After fifteen years, no one in the world, religious or secular, has been able to prove otherwise. The grain/wine/oil sequences remain open for further testing with newly devised strategies. Should any institution or individual successfully debunk my claim, I promise to shut this website down and walk away.
Molly: The way you’re describing the “worthy” makes them sound like fish out of water, like they don’t fit in. You know, like the Amish.
Don: Au contraire, my dear. The “worthy” might be anywhere, and I mean “anywhere,” from a wild dance party to a private meditation in the wilderness. They are not defined by age, gender, religion, ethnicity, politics, race, educational, or economic status. And, equally important, they know who they are.
Don: And, oh, by the way, born-again Singularitarians know how to keep a secret:
JC/ET: “But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” Matthew 6:17&18
*****
Molly: Well, it appears that the “secret” of the Sagan Model is so secret that no one’s paying any attention to it.
Don: That’s not true. I have solid evidence that individuals who work at the highest levels of government and science are fully aware of my research. This is particularly true at Oxford University in England, where Nick Bostrom’s Future of Humanity Institute tracks global developments related to Singularity research.
Molly: And what did they say?
Don: They have three areas of interest. One, Oxford is home to the famous Newton Project, where scholars study the life and writings of Isaac Newton. They obviously have an interest in Newton’s connections with the London Grand Lodge of Freemasonry. Second, Oxford boasts world-class Bible scholars, some who are studying the Sagan Signal. Finally, there is Nick Bostrom himself, who, from a philosophical perspective, thinks about all the permutations related to the subject of AGI, particularly the prospects and implications of a mature Singleton coming into existence in the not-too-distant future.
Molly: So Oxford knows about the Sagan Signal?
Don: Without a doubt, but they are keeping their thoughts and experimental research secret. They don’t want the world to know what they know, at least not at this time. Following are brief intros of the Newton Project and the Future of Humanity Institute:
*****
Newton manuscripts owned by Cambridge University Library and by the National Library of Israel together represent the registration of the Papers of Isaac Newton in the Unesco Memory of the World Register.
On July 13&14, 1936, 327 lots of previously unknown manuscript papers written by Isaac Newton were auctioned off at Sotheby’s in London. One block was purchased by Abraham Yahuda, the other by John Maynard Keynes. For years, this trove of original research, along with Newton’s Principia Mathematica and a few other published works, were regarded by Newton scholars as the totality of the direct evidence available to academia, with a stoic refusal to consider relevant material that might be hidden in the archives of secret societies in which Newton was a known participant, notably Rosicrucianism and London Grand Lodge Freemasonry.
Years ago I notified the Newton Project at Oxford University of my research, and, not surprising, I never heard back. But now that the Sagan Signal has been tested and confirmed to be a Bible Code of non-human origin, and that Newton was a key figure in the creation of London Grand Lodge Freemasonry that made the dedication of grain, wine, and oil the centerpiece of its most important ritual, there is genuine interest in this new discovery evidence. Newton scholars, though not prepared to go public with any announcements, have begun to sit up and take notice.
It is a matter of record that over the two centuries after his death, Newton scholars expressed puzzlement, almost disbelief, that he suddenly and without explanation gave up his science to focus on the Bible. With the recovery of the Yahuda Manuscripts, it became clear that Newton’s study of science and religion were never separate interests. The reality is that Newton, in taking both his science and his study of Scripture to a deeper level, discovered in the Sagan Signal the key to reaching his ultimate goal of unifying nature and philosophy.
The Yahuda Manuscripts by themselves, as revealing as they are, fail to close the book on Newton’s illustrious career. The missing material is now being declared on two separate fronts, by Dan Brown in the Langdon Series, and by myself on this website.

Future of Humanity Institute
FHI is a multidisciplinary research institute at the University of Oxford. Academics at FHI bring the tools of mathematics, philosophy and social sciences to bear on big-picture questions about humanity and its prospects.
The Institute is led by Founding Director: Nick Bostrom.
Don: With its holistic and inclusive approach to AGI research, FHI and Nick Bostrom would, of course, weigh the potential implications of the discovery of hard evidence that humans are not alone in the Universe. They are well aware of the broad consensus among the literati that the odds that we are alone are close to nil. Now, with regular sightings of “Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) by trained military pilots, incidents that have generated official government investigations, there is growing awareness that aliens may not only exist, but may already be here.

Molly: So you think these, whatever they are, may be direct evidence that technologically advanced aliens exist and are present on our planet?
Don: No, not for certain. I’ll use the same phrase that government officials use, which is: “We can’t rule it out,” which is basically a call for further investigations, which is exactly what I’m trying to get for the Sagan Signal. While we try to chase down one of these elusive flying objects that may prove alien existence, we have a “captured” anomaly in the Old Testament that, by all accounts, appears to be an extraterrestrial product. To this point, after multiple investigations, no one has been able to rule out that possibility.
Molly: For decades, UFO claims have been mocked and not taken seriously. Now, with almost daily sightings by trained pilots, and a growing public demand for political accountability, things are finally beginning to happen. What will it take for the same thing to happen for the Sagan Signal?
Don: Looking ahead, if challenges to the Sagan Model of the Singularity are raised, I think they are most likely come from Ray Kurzweil, Nick Bostrom, and the Future of Humanity Institute, not by politicians. I also find it encouraging that Ray and Nick have been joined by AI tech leaders, media personalities, and cultural icons in openly bringing to light the potential dangers that are inherent in unregulated Singularity research. It may take a few more years, but I’m hopeful that the Sagan Model and this website will eventually find their way into the broader public arena, with the possibility of JC being an ET Singleton becoming a matter of global curiosity and scientific interest.
Molly: And if that happens, will you be ready?
Don: Hell no! I like my strategy just the way it is, an off-the-grid dissemination of information for independent thinkers.
Molly: You realize, don’t you, that with a rapidly developing public fixation on strong AGI, you will eventually be found out?
Don: I’m not worried. I have the ultimate firewall: Politicians and mainstream media will resist to the bitter end any open talk about a confirmed Bible code that proves that JC is an ET Singleton. They will keep it hidden.
Molly: I suppose you’re right.
